Giving Feels Good

The definition of charity..."Love; universal benevolence; good will."

The founders and volunteers at Smartie Pants believe in universal love, good will and serving our community. We hope you will join us in making the difference in the lives of many. Our charity groups focus primarily on women and homeless teens.

The winter months are approaching fast, let's unite as a community and fill the closets of our charity organization.

We are proud to be a part of the organizations we are working with. Read about them below.

Seattle Children's Hospital Thrift Stores support uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital and help ensure that the best medical care will always be available to the children of our region. When you visit one of our six thrift stores you'll find a wide selection of quality new and used merchandise at fair prices. Best of all, you'll know your purchases will benefit the children who rely on Children's for their care.

Jubilee Women’s Center provides women a safe and supportive place to live and an opportunity to learn while becoming self-reliant in housing and employment. They have been providing transitional housing for women since 1983. Jubilee has an onsite free clothing boutique open by appointment to all women. Jubilee relies on the community for clothing donations to keep the boutique full. Smartie Pants has been donating clothes to this boutique for the past four years!

Rising out of the Shadows: ROOTS delivers critical services to homeless young adults and other low income persons, advocates for policies that foster dignity and long-term solutions, and works toward building community partnerships. This amazing organization provides shelter and clothing to homeless young adults. It relies heavily on donations. Let’s help them keep their closets full.

Wanna be a Smartie Pants?

Extra extra read all about it..."the Smartie Pants event is happening again!" Mark your calendars for October 16th and 17th!

If you want to consign with us you can easily download the registration form, just click Seller Information, www.smartiepantsevents.com.

Our first event was a huge success! We had several consignee's, 100's of clothing items including handbags, shoes and jewels, lots of shoppers, amazing volunteers, a beautiful space and most importantly, we donated (55) fifity-gallon trash bags of clothing items to our charities--amazing, huh?

The event is at the same location, a gorgeous Seattle loft near Lake Union. You can find all the information on our website.

We sure hope you will join us in making YOU some money, being green by recycling your unwanted items AND being a part of the community.

Come play with us, it's fun to be a Smartie Pants.

Cheers!
Angela & Trinh
